OTRUM appoints Frode Haugen as President & CEO

The Board of Directors of OTRUM are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Frode Haugen as President & CEO, effective from September 2011.

Mr. Haugen currently holds the position of Executive Vice President at UNINOR, based in India. UNINOR is operated by Telenor (the world’s 6th largest mobile operator) and Unitech. Prior to this, Mr. Haugen has been CEO of Cell One (Namibia), CEO of Ghana Telecom, Managing Director of Alcatel Nordic & Baltic and Managing Director of Tandberg Data Asia, amongst others positions.

Mr. Haugen succeeds Mr. Bjørn Ove Skjeie who served as OTRUM’s President & CEO from June 2006 until July 2011.
